Tending mosques breeds success and special blessing

News - In his visit to Quran and Etrat exhibition in Qom, Sheikh Muhammad Jawad Fazel Lankarani said, "Mosque is the house of God and Quran is the Word of God; we must recite the Word of God in God's house."

In a special interview with Shabistan News Agency, he said, "God showers more blessings on those who recite the Quran in a mosque than on those who recite it elsewhere." He further added that mosque was a source of blessing and there was more pleasure in understanding and reciting the Quran in a mosque than in any other places.

Referring to the needs of the contemporary society, he said to the Mosque News Agency, "if news agencies could report about the works and researches made on the lives of individuals who are successful in prayers, it would have a great impact on the youth and it would help attract them to the mosques."

He reminded that there were best traditions about the mosques and if the news agencies could make them known to the youth, they would be attracted to the mosques in greater number.

He further added, "If we illustrate correctly and properly the pleasure, reality, servitude and beauty of worshipping God for the youth, they sure will accept us wholeheartedly, otherwise if we are going to be negligent and inattentive to the effects of these realities, they will not surrender to the religion."
